In a fast-paced industry, we take care to ensure our customers get the advice, communication and products they need, when they need them, and it shows through the continued loyalty from our customers.
We are looking for individuals, ranging from 2-10 years of experience, to fill a customer base out of our head office in Beamsville, Ontario. This full-time position will require a combination of in-office hours and travel hours within a 40 hour work week.
Roles & Responsibilities
Maintain regular visitations to your customer base
- Follow-up promptly with customer support and technical advice
- Manage and develop strong customer relations
- Research and training for new products and techniques
- Establish and maintain product trials for staff or customer uses
- Meet with the team weekly and monthly
- Presentations of programs or new developments to growers, customers, coworkers, or industry meetings
- Reach yearly sales goals as discussed with management
Characteristics & Skills
- Experience in technical sales and sales support
- Understanding of greenhouse growing systems and practices
- Strong customer communication skills
- Organized and prompt when achieving tasks
- Proficient in computer programs/tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Excellent ability to work within a team environment
Education
- Post secondary education in a related field
- 2-10 years experience in agriculture, horticulture, or technical sales in a related field
